It would be remiss of me not to mention the commemoration of the Martyrdom of King Charles four hundred and sixty years ago. The SOCIETY LINKED TO HERE keeps his memory alive and keeps his 'Saints day' today and why not, we need all the help we can get. This is their banner, which as I type will now be in the Banqueting House, Whitehall, resting against the wall having been carried in procession to the door of the House where a wreath will have been laid upon the bust of the King before proceeding with the customary High Mass.
Here you can see the relics of the King on the altar at Holy Trinity Reading during the first Mass of Father Card-Reynolds in 1999. There is also a fine chasuble as well which the Society own. King Charles the Martyr, pray for us who keep the faith.
