London Calling.

So far the meeting of Forward in Faith in London has been covered by the Telegraph in THIS article which refers to the Bishop of Fulham's opening speech last night. THIS link will take you to the Telegraph religious news page which will probably be the best place for updates throughout the day. Yesterday, of course, saw the ground prepared with Fr Houlding reminding us that 'statutory provision (a code of practice) will not do', which is something we are all of one mind over. The legal framework for the next couple of years which we heard in Preston some weeks ago were gone over again, with the hope that in 2010 we can provide an adequate number of representatives in Synod to save the ancient, scriptural, Godly faith of the Church against the wreckers who seek to mirror the situation in ECUSA of terror, fear and a whole new faith, unrecognisable in scripture, with, it seems to me, the satanic line 'do what you will shall be the whole of the law' as the motto.

Fr Alan Rabjohns, who may well go down in history as the first to be persecuted for the Faith in Wales in modern times, explained the rapidly changing situation there, which is grim, to say the least. Of course, we have this meeting on the cusp of recession so media coverage will not be as strong as one might hope, but we and, I am sure, our fellow Anglo-Catholic bloggers will do our best to keep you informed as to what happens. One word of warning oft repeated on these pages - check the sources before you believe the Sunday papers! - I can almost see the headline now!
