The View From the Bridge.

Rose set from the nuns at Haggerston, made in 1922.

Thanks to Ken Savage, Churchwarden and Chorister and all round good chap for taking these pictures of this mornings High Mass. I enjoyed preaching, almost everyone seemed to be in a good mood and the sun even shone in the morning (although it was very cold!). We had a packed congragation and then in the evening we had 170 people for a concert by the Wigan Youth Brass Band who were excellent, it raised the roof. All the excitement now is focused on next weeks Carol Service and Benediction, which is at 6pm on Sunday and promises to be a treat! I will also have a haircut, I promise! It's been a while.
