New Thurible.

I have just recieved the new thurible donated in memory of Ronald Gilmore, friend of St Hildas Church. It has been restored by a group of nuns in Mexico with whom we have dealt before. It was a most peculiar transaction, as it usually is with them, but worth it, as the thurible, boat and spoon are beautiful, and purchased at a very good price. They will be blessed and used for the first time on Sunday at the Epiphany. The only fault is that the chains are too short, so I am going to ask Ken Savage, Churchwarden and DIY expert, to find some new ones and attach them. Then, it will be perfect!
