The annual Mothers Day flower giving out relay race was won this year by team A who gave out seventy petunias in seven minutes, beating last years pansies by ninety seconds. Happily, this meant that all the ladies in the congregation were beplanted and Our Blessed Lady had the Angelus sung to her at only seven minutes past twelve, which is not bad, considering. Happy Mothers day to all mothers, whether they enjoy it here or in the pink-bedecked halls of Heaven.
