People sometimes say that the Assumption is too Catholic for them. Well, we make a lot of assumptions in life, about people and places we know and do not know, and I am willing to make an assumption about Our Lord. That He would be sure to have His Mother with Him in Heaven and to give her honour and a seat at His right hand. If we believe in the Ascension, I would assume that we believe in the Assumption as well. I am off to Walsingham on Thursday morning until Tuesday night, so that's it for a week.
